Christian Science Church

This modern religious building has a dazzling white interior and a public reading room. It was designed by former local resident Ken Wood, and was constructed along with the tall apartment building you see behind it, which was later bought for Columbia Law School housing. The special benches in front of it were custom-designed by the original architect and fabricated at the stone yard of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine thanks to local resident Barbara Hohol and Columbia administrator Bill Scott.
